Tru-Tite High-Efficiency Takeoff with Damper

Our 45 Degree High-Efficiency Takeoff features a continuous weld longitudinal seam for no leakage at 4” W.G. static pressure. A 1” wide flange is turned out on all four sides with closed cell neoprene gasket applied to the flange to assure a tight seal, and an EPDM rubber O-ring set in a series of grooves which, when joined to round duct, will roll into place to seal the duct joint without the use of duct sealer.
Fabrication Data
High-Efficiency Takeoffs are fabricated from both 26 and 24 gauge-galvanized steel. The fittings come with and without volume dampers. The reinforced volume dampers are assembled with a closed-end bearing and washer. 1-1/2 damper handle standoff is standard.
